Filter coffee with the AeroPress:
The AeroPress is a relatively new method of making coffee that is a combination of French Press and filter coffee . Unlike the French Press, the coffee is steeped for longer (approx. 1-1.5 minutes) and then pressed through a small filter paper with a stamp.
In contrast to the French press, the paper produces a clear, fine cup of coffee that emphasizes the characteristics of the coffee.
That's how it's done:
- Grind the coffee a little coarser than for filter coffee .
- Add 15 grams of coffee to the AeroPress and let it steep for a minute after stirring briefly.
- Stir again, press through the filter and enjoy!
